• We will comply with all the environmental legislation that relates to Twigs Flowers.
• We will minimise waste and ensure the safe disposal or destruction of waste where reuse or recycling is not viable.
• Twigs Flowers and the Twigs Flower School will demonstrate a commitment to the prevention of pollution and adverse impacts on the environment.
• We will actively promote recycling both internally and amongst our customers and suppliers.
• We will pro-actively work with our clients to address the overall carbon footprint of production and delivery of all printed materials.
• We stipulate the use of environmentally friendly inks (e.g. vegetable oil based inks) for our printed matter.
• We stipulate printers use printing materials that with a recycled content and/or manufactured from sustainable sources. (e.g. FSC certified materials).
• Twigs Flowers and the Twigs Flower School will constantly seek to improve its environmental performance and will look to spread the message of sustainable living and environmentally friendly behaviour to all its customers and suppliers.
• We will minimise our consumption of resources and encourage our customers to do the same.
• We will look for our suppliers to minimise their environmental impacts and will seek to only do business with companies that meet our environmental criteria (e.g. printers with ISO14001 accreditation).
• We will support the local economy through purchasing goods locally where possible.
• Twigs Flowers and the Twigs Flower School will monitor and measure its impact on the environment, set targets for continual improvement and regularly review our progress against improvement objectives.
